Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu is the art of control. It teaches you to use leverage, timing and technique to neutralize a bigger, stronger opponent, which is exactly why it sits at the heart of modern mixed martial arts and practical self-defense.
At Real Martial Arts ABC Academy, every BJJ class is built on fundamentals: posture, base, grips and movement. You learn them from a former UFC fighter who has used these techniques at the highest level of the sport, and who knows how to teach them clearly to people who are brand new.
What a class looks like
Classes follow a clear structure. You warm up, drill a technique with a partner, then apply it in controlled positional training. When you and your coach feel you are ready, you move into live rolling. Nobody is thrown in at the deep end.
